The Forum on Arab and Muslim Affairs, in coordination with the Arab Studies Institute, coordinates various ongoing research projects and initiatives, and 2015 was the busiest year to date with workshops, conferences, and panels taking place all over the world with the collaboration of many respected institutions. FAMA's co-sponsors include SOAS, University of London, the Asfari Institute for Civil Society and Citizenship, the American University of Beirut, the Legal Agenda. and Birzeit University. The diversity and frequency of these events help to connect scholars globally and facilitate ongoing discussions and scholarship of relevant issues.
